Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been making the headlines ever since she posted her BTS photos from the Oscars 2023, right before Alia Bhatt’s big debut on the red carpet of MET Gala. From being called an insecure person to pointing out her so-called jealousy, netizens are leaving no stone unturned to mock her. Now, a tweet from a netizen has resurfaced that claims that the actress followed their backup account that constantly bashes the Dear Zindagi actress.

Sharing video snippets of Deepika's following list on Twitter, the twitterati by the handle ‘Instajustice13’ claimed that she started following their back-up account. The authenticity of the post is yet to be determined as the actress reportedly unfollowed the account shortly after these tweets went viral. Well, netizens were quick to bash the 37-year-old actress with nasty hateful comments and memes in the comment section of the post. One even went as far as to write, “Deepika i never liked you. Neither u r good human being nor good actor.” A fan also came to her rescue, as they took to Twitter to claim that she had DM’d Deepika enlightening her about the ongoing controversy of Twitter, after which she unfollowed the page.
